Celeb ‘Red Carpet’ Gift Bags – (cough vapes)
It is no secret that celebrities love their weed. Sometimes I question whether James Franco is always high, or if his eyes just do not naturally open very wide. However it seems that they are becoming more and more comfortable talking about their love for Mary Jane, which is a good thing. What the pot movement needs more is sponsors who are successful and undermine the arguments that marijuana “robs you of your ambition.” As a side note, I know a scientist who worked with the human genome project who loves to vape and does so almost every day.
Because of how popular vaping has become among stars, some insiders are saying that they will be given the devices in their gift bags at the Oscars next year. Whether or not they will come preloaded with shatter, oil, or flowers remains to be seen, but it would be hilarious to see all of Hollywood getting stoned while waiting to see who wins the awards. The speeches would be…epic.
Which Pens Will be in Red Carpet Gift Bags?
Which vaporizers the stars will be given is a question on the table as well. Personally I think the new induction powered Evoke is the natural choice, but with so much competition in the space and innovations happening every day there really is no way of knowing. By the time Awards season rolls around next year, there will be dozens of vaporizers that are only pipe dreams at the moment.
Some think the new CloudV will win the honors, since it has been so popular at this year’s various Cannabis Cups. The CloudV took first place in San Francisco and Las Angeles, as well as third place in Denver. The vapes are extremely attractive and would look great next to some Vera Wang or Dolce & Gabbana. There’s also some buzz that Snoop Doggs Micro G Pen is a contender.
Whoopie Goldberg, the first person to win an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony, is also an avid user of a Vape pen. Earlier this year she wrote a column called “My vape pen and I, a love story” explaining how her vaporizer changed her life. She was put onto the vape pen by her daughter and said she never turned back from her “Sippy” since that faithful day. She uses smokes regular leaf out of her vaporizer and said Platinum OG Kush was her choice at the time she wrote the column.
The marijuana industry is supposed to overtake the smart phone industry in terms of total revenue by 2018, which is surprising since it is still technically illegal under US law. Luckily for those of us who turn to pot, weed, dope, bud, wax, hash, and shatter for our stress relief or recreation, the states have taken it into their own hands to pass reasonable regulations that are keeping otherwise law abiding citizens out of Jail. It is just a matter of time until all of us can walk down the street, or take a short drive to pick up our favorite strains from our locally owned dispensaries the same way we go to a bar or store to get alcohol.
