Alien Covenant (Prometheus II) Has Wrapped Filming
The highly anticipated Alien Covenant, which is Ridley Scott’s second installment in the prequel quadrilogy to his original Alien series, has officially wrapped filming. The iconic director recently celebrated by sharing a new pic from the set showing himself and Katherine Waterston, the star/protagonist of the new film.
One of the films stars, Danny McBride, who plays the captain of the obviously doomed ship ‘Covenant’ was recently quoted from HitFix saying: “I got the script and I’m like this sh*t is dark! There is no comic relief in this at all. This is a dark horror movie,” McBride said. “That was exciting. To be able to step into something like that and to participate in a way that’s not relying on things I’d done before.”

It was rumored that Prometheus star Noomi Rapace was not going to be in the movie, but now it seems that she does have a reduced roll. As we previously reported, the planet the ship ‘Covenant’ discovers looks to be an unexplored paradise. However, they will soon realize this is a dark and dangerous world who’s sole inhabitant is Michael Fassbender’s synthetic David. The last survivor of the Prometheus expedition. The crew probably discovers some kind of video with Rapace’s Dr. Elizabeth Shaw giving a VLOG on what went down with the Prometheus crew and warning any new comers of the dangers that lie ahead.
