Garry Marshall, ‘Pretty Woman’ director Dies at 81

Garry Marshall, who created and executive produced some of the most popular sitcoms on TV such as Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, The Odd Couple and Mork & Mindy. Plus directed the box-office smash Pretty Woman, died Tuesday Marshall was 81. He had recently been hospitalized after suffering a stroke and died from pneumonia complications, TMZ reported.
Wikipedia – Marshall was born in the New York City borough of The Bronx. He was the brother of actress/director Penny Marshall and Ronny Marshall Hallin, a TV producer.
