The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2’ Trailer Hooks Us On A Feeling
Remember when Guardians of the Galaxy was about to come out and even some hardcore nerds had no idea what it was? I know comics at a fairly mediocre level, but I had no idea what it was. The great thing about it was that Marvel finally took a big chance with a property they owned that could fail miserably. If you told me a few years ago that Chris Pratt will headline a huge superhero franchise as a sex symbol, I’d probably start laughing at you — then the trailer came out for the first movie. Then I saw the first movie. I love being proved wrong and enjoying how wrong I was. A movie with a talking raccoon and his buddy who’s a talking tree voice by Vin Diesel? What?
This morning brought the release of the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2. It brings back the entire crew that we all love to watch bicker and make fun of each other.
Premise: Set two months after the first film, the Guardians of the Galaxy travel throughout the cosmos and struggle to keep their newfound family together, while helping Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage.
As you can see from the image in the trailer, we get a small look at baby Groot. Look at his little jacket. LOOK AT IT! Watch the new trailer below, then put on the soundtrack for the first movie. That song is so dang catchy.
