The ‘Alien: Covenant’ Trailer Makes Us Want To Run Away All Over Again
The Alien franchise is one that has a special place in my heart. Not only was the first film incredibly scary, but it looks amazing. H.R. Giger created a monster that literally made you afraid of the dark. A monster that chases you to kill you or have one of those egg things plant a thing in your chest to burst out while you’re eating? Nope, not signing up for that space flight. Acid for blood? Get the hell out of here, Paul Reiser!
It was all amazing. Today we’re graced with the new trailer to Alien: Covenant. This film comes after the “was that a prequel?” film of Prometheus. I think it is, but damn if it didn’t look beautiful.
Premise: Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David, survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
Why does David sound scarier than that alien? Doesn’t matter. This movie looks incredible and I guarantee I will scare a girl if I bring her to see it with me. That’s probably a bad thing, you guys. Check out the trailer below.
