DC’s ‘Injustice 2’ Release Date, Spoilers And Even More To Get Excited For In 2017
The first Injustice: Gods Among Us game was one of the first times where DC superheroes could battle each other in a fighting game where it was actually fun to play. It also had a sick story line with parallel universes you can see play out as you progress through the game. Seeing Lex Luthor and Superman as best friends in an Alt Universe was just one of the highlights. The Flash as a bad guy, Harley Quinn choosing Batman over the Joker are just a few of the story twists.
You can bet that the sequel to the first Injustice is going to include even more heroes and villains to fight it out with a lot more customization within the game. New characters playable on the game include Wonder Woman (Justice League version) and the Blue Beetle. After seeing Gal Gadot rock out in Batman v Superman, who wouldn’t want to be her as a playable character?
Speaking of comic book characters you loved in the Suicide Squad film, you not only get to play as Harley Quinn, but Injustice 2 is also adding Deadshot (Will Smith in the film) to the roster. Knowing how games like Injustice 2 loves to keep adding downloadable content, you can bet more of the lovable anti-heroes will show up in the game with some sort of play-to-unlock function.
Here are the list of characters we know will be in the game:
- Aquaman (Justice League)
- Atrocitus
- Batman (Justice League)
- Blue Beetle
- Deadshot (Suicide Squad)
- Flash (Justice League)
- Gorilla Grodd
- Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad)
- The Joker (Suicide Squad)
- Supergirl
- Superman (Justice League)
- Wonder Woman (Justice League)
NetherRealm Studios, the developers of the game, announced on its official website that the game will include more improved features that the previous game, and even more story lines as well. With the success of the first game and Mortal Kombat X, you can bet that gamers will be waiting in line for hours for this game. But what system should I get it for? Decisions!
Injustice 2 is set to be released by March, 2017. The standard edition is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game can be pre-ordered at the price of $59.99.
