Dark chocolate is good for the heart by helping to restore the flexibility of arteries and preventing white blood cells from sticking to the walls of blood vessels. It’s also loaded with beneficial minerals such as potassium, zinc and selenium.
Eating chocolate can reduce levels of “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and raise levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL). Dark chocolate is a great source of flavonols that have excellent antioxidant effects and can fight against skin damage.
