Turn On Your Radar: The Official ‘Alien: Covenant’ Trailer Is Loose
No matter what you think about horror movies, the Alien franchise has constantly scared moviegoers since the first film came out. An alien monster who is born from this weird face-hugger thing that lays an egg in your chest only to burst out some time later? Put me down for one big hell no.
More ALIEN: The Alien: Covenant Trailer Makes Us Want To Run Away All Over Again
Since the beautiful Prometheus has come and gone we’ve been drooling like a Xenomorph waiting to see and hear news from the next film. The teasers of images, footage, posters, and even a full scene introducing the characters has filled the hype train with no seats available, and that is why it’s the perfect time to release a new official trailer.
Premise: Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, members (Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup) of the colony ship Covenant discover what they think to be an uncharted paradise. While there, they meet David (Michael Fassbender), the synthetic survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition. The mysterious world soon turns dark and dangerous when a hostile alien life-form forces the crew into a deadly fight for survival.
Anything is possible with this film, but it seems like Ridley Scott really wants to bring back the horror that scared audiences back in 1979. Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England and Benjamin Rigby. The much anticipated prequel to be released on May 19, 2017.
