Jay Z got 99 problems, but Spotify ain’t one
Jay Z pulled all 12 of his studio albums off of Spotify this week. The move is an attempt to bring subscribers over to the rapper’s own music streaming service, Tidal. The iconic rapper launched Tidal in 2015 and the service reached 3 million subscribers as of last year.

In the past, Jay Z has been critical of music services like Spotify for not properly paying artists for their songs. As of Saturday, his only songs that remain on Spotify are collaborations with artists such as R. Kelly, Linkin Park, and Kanye West.
