Maryland just approved its first medical marijuana growth operation
Regulators issued the first license for a two-acre warehouse to grow medical marijuana in Maryland. The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission voted to grant the company ForwardGro to grow medicinal marijuana.

ForwardGro said that they expect their medicinal pot should be available to patients early this fall. “Medical cannabis production will change the face of Maryland and will have a profound economic and health impact on the entire region,” Patrick Jameson, executive director of the commission.
