Wisconsin company to implant microchips in its employees
When fiction becomes reality: A Wisconsin tech company says they are about to become the first business in the U.S. to offer microchip implants to its employees. The implantable chips will allow the employees of Three Square Market to open doors, buy snacks, log in to computers, and use office equipment.

The company says that the program is optional. The chips are not GPS-enabled, meaning the chips can not be used to track people, which may come as a relief to those who worry about employee privacy. “Eventually, this technology will become standardised allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc.” Todd Westby, the company’s chief executive.
