The New ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Trailer Lands With The Force
The first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi wowed fans all over the world. Director Rian Johnson, of Looper and Breaking Bad fame, really knows how to direct the heck out of whatever project he’s working on. He has a big job ahead of him: He has to direct a sequel to a film that no one thought would ever happen, then try and top one of the biggest films of all time. No big deal.
Premise: Luke Skywalker’s peaceful and solitary existence gets upended when he meets Rey, a young woman who shows strong signs of the Force.
This new trailer premiered during Monday Night Football, which is one of the only times in history I actually looked forward to half-time just to watch this trailer. Johnson is actually posting on Twitter to get people to not watch it so they can avoid spoilers, but no on is going to listen to that. That’s why you’re here!
