Walmart plans to bring more robots to its stores. The machines assist staffers by scanning out-of-stock items that have been mislabeled or incorrectly priced. The company said the robots are not replacing workers but helping make their jobs easier. “We will always need great people in our stores working hard for our customers. This technology is a tool that helps our associates know where they can make the biggest difference for our customers.” – Walmart spokesman Justin Rushing told CNNMoney
