Pete Davidson Says Medical Pot Helps Him Control Chronic Illness
The ‘SNL’ star admits he smokes weed to combat some side effects of Crohn’s disease. The 24-year-old was diagnosed with the illness when he was a teenager. In a 2016 interview, Davidson also said he relies on medical marijuana to increase his appetite, which can be impacted by Crohn’s.

Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory syndrome that affects one’s gastrointestinal tract. In Davidson’s case, his Crohn’s has caused him a lot of stomach pain. Medical pot is commonly used to help increase the appetite in people whose conditions or medications make it difficult for them to eat.
